Did you know that Microsoft is no longer updating Internet Explorer? If you are using Internet Explorer you are at risk. Since the release of Microsoft Edge and Windows 10, security patches are no longer being provided for Internet Explorer. If you were to buy a new computer today, it would come with Microsoft Edge built in.
What does this mean for you if you are still using Internet Explorer? Your web browser is no longer keeping you safe from virus' and othere dangers that lurk on the web. It means that some of your financial websites that you log into may no longer support this browser. It means your computer may not be displaying or interacting with websites as they have in the past - you may not see buttons or links or images as they are intended, negatively affecting your overall user experience.
What can you do to stay safe online? Start using a different web browser such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.
