Community Banking Month
Celebrate Community Banking Month with us!
During April, Community banks across the nation are celebrating their customers and the communities they get to serve.
Throughout the month, Upper Peninsula State Bank will encourage consumers, entrepreneurs, and businesses to learn more about community banks, their role in building stronger communities and the quality products and services they provide - all with the relationship banking experience that customers can expect from a local financial institution.
Did you know...
- Community banks constitue 96 percent of all banks!
- There are more than 51,000 community bank locations nationwide.
- Community banks make more than 50 percent of small business loans.
- More than 2,500 community banks have been in business for more than 100 years.

We want to thank our existing customer for their patronage and urge those who we hope to count as future customers to consider the benefits of banking locally:
- Personal Service - 66% of Americans want a more personal relationship with their financial institution
- Hometown Support - $68 out of every $100 spent at locally owned businesses stays in the community.
- Trusted Advisor - Community banks are the lender of choice for small businesses, above large banks, credit unions and nonbank lenders.
- Local Credit Decisions - Community banks consider character, family history and discretionary spending when making loan decisions.
There are many more reasons to choose a community bank. Stop into any of our offices and see why we say -
