Setting up your device
Now you can use your Upper Peninsula State Bank Debit Card with Android Pay at contactless terminals. All you need to do is:
- Make sure your Android phone* is running Kit Kat 4.4 or higher and also supports NFC (Near Field Communication) and HCE (Host Card Emulation). To check, look for it in your phone's Settings app.
- Look for the Android Pay app on your phone. It is preloaded on several devices, but you can also download it from the Google Play Store.
- Open the Android Pay app and follow the setup instructions. You may need to set up a PIN, pattern, password, or fingerprint screen lock.
- That's it. You are ready to go!
*Available on all non-rooted Android devices (Kit Kat 4.4+). Devices not supported are: Elephone P9000, Evo 4G Lite, Nexus 7 (2012), Samsung Galaxy Note III, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Light.

How to use Android Pay
To Pay - simply unlock your phone and hold the back of your phone against the contactless payment terminal. If prompted, choose "Credit" regardless of your type of card. For debit card transactions, you may have to enter a PIN. Use the PIN you set up with your debit card.

Android Pay can be used at millions of stores around the world, wherever contactless payments are accepted. And, you can use Android Pay to pay in some of the most popular apps in the Google Play Store.
